1958 Ford Fairlane, 2-Door Sedan — Ready to Sell! The current owner bought this car from the original owner and drove it for many years until it was put away in storage 15 years ago. The car has excellent sheet metal and does not appear to have been in an accident. This is an in-line 6 with 3 on the column. A new battery and fresh tires have been installed. This Fairlane starts right up by pulling the full choke! Brakes need to be bled before driving away. This has a California title with a non-op. Found in the trunk was an extra pair of taillights and some other goodies.
Mileage: Unknown. 90,226 shows on the odometer
Paint: Paint was the classic salmon color of the era. Faded out with patina, slight surface rust in some areas.
Sheet Metal: Great condition. Seems all original. Some rust on right side, passenger door.
Chrome: Good condition.
Mechanical: This car was parked while running in good tune. Battery has been refreshed and the car starts right up with a full choke. A full service would be in order to make this a daily runner again.
“all full-size ’59 Fords except the Skyliner were offered with Ford’s standard 223-cid six-cylinder engine.”
Wheels & Tires: Original 14-inch painted steel rims with correct 7” center hub caps, in excellent shape.
205 X 14 tires installed.
