Overview
This 1950 Harley Davidson WR is a survivor motorcycle with a riding history in California’s central Valley. The WR motorcycle was originally put together by Monte Miller and campaigned by Marsh Runyon as a hill climber and as a flat track racer. This Harley WR race motorcycle was completely restored by Marsh Runyon when he retired and it resided for a while in a motorcycle race museum in Fresno. This Factory WR was last raced in 1986. The motorcycle sports a 1950 WR motor, an early Harley frame (not Chrome Molly), WR Tanks, and a range of custom race setups.
The WR is in hill climb trim including the motorcycle chains covering the rear wheel. Marsh Runyon’s trademark hole drilling scheme adorns the bike wherever there is room. This race motorcycle is kicked through every few weeks to keep the motor ready for the next campaign! This 1950 WR race motorcycle comes complete photo album of its race history.
