This motorcycle is a 1976 Triumph T 140 Bonneville. The current owner purchased it 6 years ago from his brother in law on the coast in California. The previous owner purchased the bike restored and has always been a Triumph aficionado. The current owner used the motorcycle on AMCA road runs including Borrego Springs. He Only used it on these road runs so he put less than 1000 miles on the bike. During one of these rides, he lugged the bike too much and ended up with a hole in the piston. The piston has been replaced and the bike runs great. The replaced piston has about 250 miles on it. The owner is in advanced age and has decided to move this motorcycle onto the next owner.
Possibly 1000 miles on the bike under the current owner and 250 with the new piston
