This is an extremely original and unblemished 1974 Ducati 750 GT!
This Ducati 750 GT was purchased in Spain in 1978 from a racer friend with 1,500 km on the clock. It remains in possession of the second owner and is currently located in Colorado.
It now has 36,364 km (20.000 genuine miles), mainly road trips from Spain to France, Italy, and the UK. Some of the later miles were completed on Colorado highways.
The owner brought it to Colorado in 2008, when he bought a house on Steamboat Lake, and registered it on Colorado plates UGQ930.
His late father-in-law, an Audi Factory mechanic, stripped it in the 90’s and replaced wiring loom, seat, front brake cylinder, front wheel, and the Conti Megas. He also rechromed everything, painted the tank and generally checked everything out. The engine, clutch, and major mechanicals did not need any work.
Boulder Ducati fully serviced the bike last year, fitted new tires and battery. This Ducati 750 GT is in fine running condition and ready for the next day’s ride!
The owner of this bike is now 76 years old and finds it a little too heavy. Sadly for him, he’s decided this fine companion should go to a new owner who can care for and appreciate it as he has, and enjoy the use that continues to be available in this motorcycle.
This great bike has a working electric starter, which is rare for the round case motors.
This “Duc” is in great original shape as it came from the factory, with Brembo brakes, Veglia dials, Marzocchi forks, Amal carbs with original filters, Conti megas etc. The only thing that needs fixing is the electronic rev. counter and ignition switch.
20,000 miles on a working clock (actually 36,364 KM showing)
Black with very good patina. The tank was repainted with great materials and application in 2000.
Excellent condition. No dings or dents noted.
New chrome by a quality shop completed in 2000.
Runs perfectly. This 1974 Ducati 750 GT was excellently taken care of by its first owner and it has been pampered and serviced correctly since then. This bike has a working electric starter, which is rare for the round case motors.
Last service in May of 2018 was done by a Ducati shop in Boulder CO.
This Ducati has been prepared for the road and it awaits its next rider!
