1973 Triumph Bonneville T140V
This 1973 Triumph Bonneville T140V motorcycle is original condition, unrestored and mechanically sound. The motorcycle was built in Meriden England. No modifications have been made to the bike. The motorcycle has 17,500 original miles on the odometer. It has a 5 speed transmission, twin Amal tickle carbs and oil in frame. The gas tank had been professionally repainted burgundy by the previous owner. Shine is excellent. The motorcycle is well maintained and frame and gear box oil have been changed spring and fall in addition to regular cable, front fork, brake and frame lube. The 12V electrical system is original but has been inspected and all items (lights, horn, kill switch, signals) are working. Seat is original and in top condition with no rips or tears. The front stock telescopic suspension has the original Lockheed disc brake. Lower polished legs, tubes, and triple trees all have an excellent finish. Rear suspension is stock swing arm. New Haylon shocks (replacing the original Girling oil-filled shocks) were added when new front and rear tires were fitted four years ago. Prime it to free the clutch plates, turn on the gas cocks, tickle the carbs and turn on the key, this bike starts on the first kick. Transmission and clutch are smooth.
