The current owner has owned this Norton since October 1974 when he bought it for carrier qualifying on the USS Lexington. It had 11,000 miles on it at the time. This Norton was his ride to and from the bases while in the Navy.
The owner/seller of this Norton rebuilt it from ground up in tje late 90’s and early 2000’s. The engine was sent to Britech New England for a perfect rebuild, but UPS dropped the box and damaged the case. The owner has the original case, which will be included with the bike. The current case was purchased new by Britech New England but the owner has not stamped the frame/engine number. Britech rebuilt the motor with new cases and all new parts. It has been ridden very little since. Always stored and covered in house or conditioned garage.
