This bike is a matching-number original 1947 Indian Chief that Kenny Edmiston bought from a collection out of Montana in the mid-80s. It was a rolling basket case. The current owner originally made it into an 80 then later decided that a Stroker engine would be the best for highway travel.
This 1947 Chief has a 93-cubic inch engine, S&S flywheels, Carillo rods, JE pistons, new bottom-end bearings, line bored and balanced with everything checked for center. Starts cold on the third kick like it should. 6V battery, new rims with stainless spokes and sealed beam headlight. NOS key switch, NOS amp meter and original speedometer. Comes with a chum seat and two solo rider and tandem seats, Jim Sutter saddle bags, original rebuilt Delco generator and voltage regulator. None nicer!
