This 1947 Indian Chief has been in possession of the current owner since 2009. It was purchased from a contractor in Lake Matthews CA, which is a few miles from Bob Stark’s compound in Perris California. The motorcycle is believed to be originally restored by Bob Stark. It has less than 2,000 miles on a new engine.
This motorcycle runs great and has been lightly used by the current owner because of health issues. It is time to move the bike to a new aficionado. This beautiful motorcycle has been stored indoors its entire life.
1927 miles showing on the working odometer.
Red & Black with a Gold pin stripe. Paint is in excellent condition and takes a great shine. There is a storage scratch noted on the left tank. Minor road chips to be expected.
All original and in excellent fit. No dings or dents noted.
Chrome is in excellent condition. It needs some polish. Extras include chrome springer front end.
This motorcycle is in excellent mechanical condition. It would need a service to get it ready for road use because of the length of time since the last use. Last service was completed by a classic Indian specialist.
