This motorcycle was originally sold in Montana to a small town. It appears the 1935 VLD motorcycle and the 1935 LT side car were purchased together direct from the dealer. The side car is a 1935 LT car with matching numbers (35 LT 1582). This motorcycle was found in a small garage in a small town. It shows signs of use with good patina (some dents and metal movement) but no signs of abuse. The working speedometer indicates 8,500 miles. The motorcycle and car were painted sometime back. The bike starts right up and is smooth through the gears. The bike is titled in Montana. This bike is a showpiece as is or a great candidate for total restoration.
8500 miles indicated on a working speedometer.
The motorcycle and sidecar were repainted in the distant past. Paint is in good condition and could use polishing and possibly a different color.
Sheet metal appears to all be factory original. It has a good patina that includes some dings and metal movement. No real dents observed except on front left of gas tank.
The machine starts right up and is smooth through the gears. It will respond well to a carb clean and tune up. All lubricants have been changed.
