Overview

This is a 1931 Indian 101 Scout. The 101 Scout is an icon in the Indian motorcycle world. It was only made for 4 years and the 1931 model is the last of the build. This motorcycle was the most important acquisition of the owner. The title on this motorcycle states it as a 1931 but the engine  number is a 1930 number. The frame number is not correct in the 101 Indian sequence but is used as the VIN on the California Title.

This bike was prepped by John Eagles a few years back and was the last machine that Hobo rode prior to his passing. It was last started in the fall of 2017.

It does kick through with compression. This motorcycle is an older restoration from the 80’s. It is rumored to have been built up by Bob Stark for a client in the 90’s. It was not dressed as it is from the factory but rather more of a bitsa.  This is a nicely presented 101 Scout.
