This Indian 101 Scout was purchased from Indiana in 2005. Sold as a restored running bike, it was not. Engine and Tranny rebuilt by George Hood using parts from Walker Machine. Engine was stroked up to @ 55ci. This machine has successfully completed many Road Runs on the West Coast since the rebuild and now sports about 3,000 carefree miles. This 101 Scout is a great looker and a great runner so it qualifies for “Show & Go”. This 101 Indian Scout runs excellently and is smooth through the gears. This machine recently received a tune-up with Johnny Eagles. This quality 101 machine is investor grade, ready to ride, and ready to show! California Title and build paperwork accompany this Indian Scout.
Unknown exact mileage on the rebuild, 3,000 approximate.
Restoration paint is of great quality with excellent application. Minimal road use indicators of chips or scratches.
All original sheet metal shows and fits very well.
The shiny stuff should be nickel on this bike. Most is in reasonable condition.
This engine and transmission was rebuilt by George Hood in 2005. Cylinders and internals provided by Walker machine. This engine was stroked during the build to 55ci and is a great runner, correctly broken in, and ready to ride. Recently tuned by Johnny Eagles, she is an easy start and dependable.
Rims are painted safety rims and quality stainless spokes. Tires have good sidewalls and plenty of road treads remaining.
