This 1945 Harley Davidson EL is a concours restoration of an incredible limited production model made during World War II. This 1945 EL model Knucklehead is a recent restoration (2022) using all original Harley Davidson parts. Literature indicates only 398 EL Models were made, paint colors available were Civil Defense Grey and Silver; and the carb body painted black. Current owner restorer found this basket case at an auction in California in the 90’s and put it away for future project. The restoration is of Concourse quality and was completed in 2022. This 1945 Harley Davidson EL is all correct, hard to find 1945 Harley EL Parts. Engine was restored by a knowledgeable Knucklehead engine builder. This motorcycle has correctly completed 313 break in miles and it has been serviced so the bike is ready for show and go! Review the pictures carefully, she is a Beaut!
This bike has a clean California Title and current registration. It has matching belly numbers and would be expected to obtain 95 points or more if judged by an AMCA judging event.

MECHANICAL: The engine was rebuilt by an experienced old timer that knows his business! Bike is barely broken in with 313 miles on the rebuild and will need the correct TLC break in ride to set it up correctly. Bike is an easy start if you know the drill. It is smooth and clean through the gears.
WHEELS & TIRES: Harley Davidson Kelsy Hayes rims painted black with Cadmium plated spokes and nipples.
Front tire is a new Coker Firestone 500 X 16.
