Overview
This 1941 Harley Davidson EL was restored by a reputable shop in Kansas in the early 1990’s. It was purchased by the Santa Cruz Harley Davidson dealer in California in 1996 for their museum. It has very few miles since the restoration. This 61 inch EL knucklehead is primarily all original parts. There is too much bling for the purist but it is a stunning example of the prewar Harley Knucklehead. This machine has recently been tuned, washed, and polished. It is a great runner, capable of first ignition kick-starting for those that know the rules! Engine number and belly numbers are correct and clean. This bike is sold on a current California title.

Odometer shows 30,842. Minimal miles (+/- 100) reported since the restoration.
Paint
Deep black, highly polished paint on the sheet metal with a powder coat frame.
Sheet Metal
Excellent sheet metal with a great fit. The front fender is a quality reproduction fender. Other quality reproduction parts available in the 90’s were used on the bike. Note that the front frame down tubes are not perfectly straight and we're not corrected in the restoration because of the minimal deviance?
Chrome
Excellent, hi-quality chrome application on the restoration although too much was used.
Mechanical
This engine and tranny nicely set up and strong. Internals are unknown. It is an easy start and smoothes through the gears.
Wheel & Tires
Chrome wheels with polished stainless spokes. Tires are Goodyear MT 90-16 with little use but aged.
