This 1915 Harley Davidson Model 11 F has just undergone a complete 5-year restoration. The motorcycle was found as a basket case. The missing parts were painstakingly sought out and prepared for the build including some exquisite period correct accessories. This 1915 Harley Davidson was correctly prepared for restoration by Eldon Brown of Milestone Motorcycle Restorations who professionally restores antique and vintage motorcycles for a living.
The complete restoration was chronicled with photographs and there are photos of most parts prior to restoration. The only reproduction parts that are of any consequence are the rear stand, rear fender, and toolbox. These parts were solicited from the best of the quality builders available. This motorcycle is ready for Show and Go and would be expected to show well in an AMCA judging event.
The motorcycle starts easy and is roadworthy.
Minimal miles on the fresh engine and restoration. This motorcycle is currently undergoing a correct break-in of the drive train.
Correct Renault Grey and correct pin striping properly applied. The applied paint is outstanding with an incredible eye to detail and proper presentation.
Sheet metal is primarily original with reproduction parts of excellent quality where needed. It is properly fit and in excellent condition with no dents or dings.
No chrome on this machine. The shiny stuff is nickel plated as originally presented. The nickel is of excellent quality and application.
This motorcycle is in excellent mechanical condition. The fresh rebuild was correctly completed and the engine starts right up with the proper procedure. Complete with a Bosch Mag and a Schebler Carburetor, this engine is as built and sturdy.
Rims are Clincher type, painted with Stainless spokes and nipples.
