1964 BMW R 69 S Motorcycle – ALL ORIGINAL – Original Paint
Overview
This 1964 BMW R 69 S is a factory original, original paint low mileage used motorcycle. This Is a TRIPLE MATCHING NUMBER survivor. This gem of a motorcycle was purchased new and lightly ridden by its original owner in New Jersey. He put the bike in storage in 19671 (?) and it stayed in storage until his death in 2013. The bike has a little over 7200 original miles. This motorcycle is in supreme shape with many extra goodies including the riders handbook and the original tool pouch complete with tools. The extra parts found in the saddlebags for touring safety are also included.. (A motorcycle fire extinguisher was found mounted under the seat!). This is a rare find of the most collectable of the BMW motorcycles from the era and it is a very nice machine. It would be an excellent addition to any motorcycle collection. It is tuned and ready for its next ride. Such a well preserved example of BMW’s Flagship Sports machine from the 60’s is truly a rare find.

This bike has just been serviced and runs like it should. I had the please of riding 40 miles on Pacific Coast Highway over the weekend and she really runs nice and steady with a strong. throaty sound.Smooth and clean through the gears, very stable at speed. This motorcycle has a California Title that is clear. No registration. Original New York title information also available.
Wheels & Tires
Original spoke wheels with what may be original tires. Very good serviceable tread on the tires and they run out smooth and balanced. Some slight pitting on the rims.
