Overview
This beautiful 1955 Chevy Bel-Air 2-Door Coupe is an original California car. The current owner purchased the car in 1997 in its current state and added 6,000 miles to the 6,711 that showed on the odometer at the time. This car has not seen rain nor a trailer since its purchase! Prior to the purchase this classic Bel-Air coupe received an extensive ground-up restoration. The frame was painted, engine and transmission were rebuilt; brakes, suspension, and steering components were refurbished back to factory standards. The Cashmere Blue & Ivory paint application was complemented with a factory correct interior of matching colors. All new chrome bumpers, emblems, and exterior trim was also installed to make this a prime Show and Go, Classic Driver. Estate liquidation requires a new curator for this classic car, your gain!

Paint
Excellently prepped and applied, the Cashmere Blue and Ivory paint is near flawless. All jams and interior painted areas are of the same quality and the engine compartment is also correctly painted and detailed.
Sheet Metal
Sheet metal is original and perfectly straight, incredibly dent and ding free, correctly fit with attention to detail. Frame was painted during restoration and appears to have had undercoating applied. No indication of rust anywhere on a visual inspection.
Chrome
Chrome is bright and shiny, of excellent quality at time of restoration.
Mechanical
This classic Chevy is in superb mechanical condition. It drives as if factory new with great power, smooth shifts, and dependable steering and ride. Engine is 265 Cu. In. F code.
Wheels & Tires
Rims are American Racing mag 5 spoke aluminum period correct.
Front Tire is B F Goodrich P215 70R 15, good side walls and great tread.
Rear Tire is B F Goodrich P215 70R 15, good side walls and great tread.
