1967 Honda Motorcycle CL77, Scrambler, CL300E
Overview
Honda Motorcycle Scrambler 1967 CL77, CL300E
This is a Honda CL77 motorcycle commonly referred to as a Honda 305 Scrambler. But that is not correct because this motorcycle is tagged as a CL300E which denotes that it was produced as a domestic Japanese motorcycle. These are essentially the same as the 305 scrambler with a few extras. It has a center stand and a side stand. It has turn signals front and rear. This is a real nice piece that appears to be a repaint although well done. This is not a matching number bike but correctly tagged and built as is. Honda did not do matching numbers in their build system. These numbers are difficult to find in the books but they are correct.
This bike was probably purchased in Japan by a GI stationed over there and he brought it home when he was shipped back.
