Excelsior Motorcycle twin cylinder

Restoration nearing completion and ready for final assembly, road test, and paint.

This 1914 Excelsior motorcycle is a mix of barn fresh, eclectic collected, and new manufacture. The majority of the parts were purchased from the Leibee estate a few years back. Mr. Leibee had been collecting parts for this machine and others through out the country for 20 years prior to his untimely demise. The current parts collection is best described as an original paint rebuild that is 99% complete. It is time to move on to final and  complete assembly. The engine is a fresh rebuild (1980?) ready to be fueled and sorted out with the carb and drive train. This machine is ready for final restoration paint and assembly and then on to the show circuit and the riding circuit to go for a cruise.

Current owner is ready to move this fine machine on to a new owner  for final completion.
